Sed, I have no intention of dismissing the spiritual side of man. There is more to consciousness than meets the eye. Even direct scientific observation gives us some very tantalizing glimpses into unknown phenomena. For example: the two-slit experiment, quantum tunneling, teleportation, superposition of states, etc. Every particle in the universe is connected to every other particle thru gravity. I do not have all the answers. All I’m saying is LoA does not ring true for me and always seems to be accompanied by a hard sell for a book or cds. Superstition is as old as the hills and it’s pathological.

I don’t have anything against Kevin Trudeau. He may even believe what he’s saying. I just think it’s incorrect. The Secret on the other hand is just plain idiotic and deceitful.

The heart is somewhere around 500% more electro magnetic then the brain (cannot remember the site I read this at but certainly can be searched out). My point is, where does the heart come into play when seeking to ‘manifest’ or gain higher spiritual awareness. Is your article completely debunking the spirit of Man as well as the resources you mention? By the way, I think K. Trudeau (your wish is your command) is a tool of ill-repute who has found a way of making ‘his dream come true’ with a network marketing ploy.

The entire “secret” and “LoA” bullshit is based on a fundamental attribution error. If you go into a job interview thinking you’re going to get the job you’ll be much more confident than if you go in thinking you’ll fall on your face. Confidence is a positive trait so the interviewer will consider you more than someone who was nervous/anxious/uncomfortable or didn’t present themselves well. The smart person walks out and says, “hey, I acted confident and it paid off!” the idiot goes, “hey, the ‘secret’ works!”

This is a great way to keep people in their shitty lives thinking about having a better life while never taking a step to improve their situation. If it’s not elite disinfo then it is just more metaphysical/new age woo woo nonsense made to sell books.

Seriously the entire “secret” could be summed up in one sentence: think positive and you’ll be happier in everything you do.

Anyone want to buy my movies and books now? Probably not since it’s not a “secret” but common sense!

On some points, I am in total agreement with you, regarding LOA. It is NOT a universal law or principle – as it’s snake oil salesmen claim – but rather a cobbled-together system that ignores extremely important components of universal principles, as recognized by the ancients in texts like the Kybalion. You fail to mention, however, that there is more to manifestation than simply “wishing” as you have stated here. The key is energy and the visualization includes the energy of how one would feel, if the object of our need and desire was already in our lives. The whole point of LOA is alignment of energy, which is supposed to draw more of the same to you, by acting like a type of cosmic magnet. However, you have pointed out quite correctly another deception that we have been fed – we can do anything that we set our minds to, which is false and purposely misleading. You will never see a female in a championship bout of MMA, fighting against men on an equal level, for example, any more than an 75 IQ person can enter med school and become a practicing physician.

The ‘Secret’ wraps the basically ‘good idea’ of positive thinking into a lot of scientological hullaballoo. Not religious, but the bible says ‘ask and you shall receive’. Then you have kharma and dharma. You have the golden rule.

All of this is well and good and generally works provided that the people you are dealing with aren’t consciously trying to f#*% you.

Now its true that the brain is an electro-magnetic machine of sorts that we don’t fully understand, but the folks down at ‘the secret’ don’t understand it better either.

Thank you. Finally someone points out what a wicked piece of trash the “secret” is. The Secret tries to tear apart basic thinking and understanding known as cause and effect, and replace it with wishing. The most absurd example of this is in the movie when they say that the reason bills come to your mailbox is because you dwell on bills. No, this is plain stupid. Bills come because you signed up for services that send bills, such as your cell phone or water. People that believe this garbage will stop trying to think and act for themselves and go on accepting suffering and increased control of their lives. I read this book after a boss told me to. I resigned the job when I finished.

Dude, Its not that bad. It’s just an exercise to program the muscle in your head. I never thought of that stuff as tapping into the “ether”, simply an exercise to put your brain into a good positive state. It’s amazing how other human animals can sense this and react to us differently (presumable in a more positive way). Isn’t it better that the angry and bitter of us read this material and at least try to stop being dicks? you cant pitch this to the masses is your logical way. They wont take the bait. You need some story or hook to convince people (obviously not us) and if that story doesn’t hurt anyone, and other people benefit personally, why knock it?

Obama Didn’t Show So We Still Don’t Know…..anything except that Obama is a liar.

The letter to Hawaii Director of Health Loretta Fuddy, from Mr. Obama and his lawyer Judith Corley, request a waiver in order to obtain a NON computer generated photocopy of Obama’s original, long-form Certificate of Live Birth.

Fuddy grants that request and gives Corley two certified photo copies of Obama’s original long-form Certificate of Live Birth. Abercrombie confirms this in his April 27th, 2011 press release.
White House General Counsel Bob Bauer confirms this at the April 27, 2011 press conference.

What Obama posted on April 27th 2011 was NOT what Fuddy says she gave him or what he requested. In fact what he posted does not exist.

Experts have proven that the computer generated document Obama posted has been manipulated, contains many layers and is an obvious forgery. However, that is not what proves it is a forgery.

The fact that what he posted IS a computer generated document proves that it is a forgery.

First, scanning a photo copy in to a computer does not turn the photo copy in to a computer generated document.
And second, the Hawaii Department of Health does not give out a computer generated, long-form Certificate of Live Birth. They only give out photocopies of the long-form Certificate of Live Birth. And you have to ask for a waiver specifically to get it, which Obama did.

The computer generated document they give out, which contains an abstract of the information on the original long-form, is called a short-form Certification of Live Birth.

1. Obama asked for a photocopy of his long-form Certificate of Live Birth. 2. Fuddy says she gave him a photocopy. 3. When Hawaii makes a computer generated birth record it is called a short-form Certification of Live Birth. 4. When you ask Hawaii for a waiver from their policy to only give out computer generated birth records you are asking for a photocopy of the original birth record.

I guess it all depends on what the state gave Obama’s lawyer, Judith Corley, when she picked the certified copies up since she was the one who fly to Hawaii to get the copies. Did they provide her with an electronic version of the birth cetificate or a hard copy? If it was a hardcopy, was it b&w or did it already have the security background? If it was a hardcopy with the security background then I don’t know how it got like this. If it was b&w, then I would assume the Obama applied the security background for security purposes. If it was electronic version, was it b&w or did the state already apply the security background? I don’t know but just like you mentioned above, Obama’s mother was American so that makes him 100% American in my book. The whole Kenyan thing just seems to be nonsense (especially logistically) and a complete waste of time and money. If the document that Obama posted was a fraud and not the one provided by the state of Hawaii, then I would think the state would be contacting the media – so it must be the real document provided by the state.

Kevin, Thanks for your comments. What’s the point of doing all this image processing, rather than just placing the paper document and doing a normal scan? ESPECIALLY if they want to prove that the document exists in its original form. What they put out can not considered a “copy.” What you (and I) describe would be called a “layered composite image.”

There are so many things wrong with this it’s hard to pick a starting point. I guess I’ll start with Kenya.
It’s been proven (documented) that Obama Sr never left Hawaii during his time as a student there to go back to Kenya (he went straight to Harvard after Hawaii). He was interviewed twice for local newspapers and they asked what he going to do after he is done with all of his school work (Hawaii & Harvard). He said he is looking forward to going back to Kenya since by the time he graduates, it would have been 7 years since he has been to Kenya. Since Obama Sr could not have been back to Kenya in 1961 (when Obama Jr was born), that would mean that Ann Dunham Obama would have had to fly by herself on a multi-layover trip (since there was no direct flight from Hawaii to Kenya in 1961) to Kenya where she did not speak the language or know a single person – while being very pregnant. Obama Sr already had another wife and child that lived in the village where he grew up and they probably did not know of his 2nd marriage. And the birthers claim that Obama was born in Mombasa which is over 500 miles from the small village that Obama Sr was from. None of his family would have been able to easily travel from the village to over 500 miles away in Mombasa for the birth of Obama Sr’s 2nd child so Ann Obama would have been on her own in Mombasa. And then she would have to fly back to Hawaii right after the delivery to get all of the legal stuff taken care. To say that Obama Jr was born in Kenya does not make any sense at all logistically.
Second, in regards to the long form birth certificate, obviously Hawaii keeps birth certificates in binder form (thus the curved edge) and then they scan the white background certificate in to the computer (or in the 1966 version, they make a Xerox or photostat copy onto official state paper). Nowadays, after the original is scanned into the computer, they apply a security background to make it official and prevent tampering. The certificate of live birth (the scanned part) from Obama’s long form is only on one part of the page (thus the curved edge in the middle of the certificate and not the whole document) and the registars certification is at the bottom (not part of the scanned in image). The 1966 certificate that you are comparing it to has the same thing – a copied image onto official state document paper (thus the curved edge at the top of the old document and a straight edge at the bottom). The security background on scanned-in images is applied to the entire document which explains why the background does not curve with the image and is applied evenly over the whole document. Thus a copy (scanned in image of the original) that is computer generated with the official security background – a computer generated copy. Nothing oxymoronic about it – it makes perfect sense to me.

First and foremost I am not an Obama supporter, I want to believe he was born in Hawaii but the evidence you have provided makes it difficult to do so… however I do take objection to the address controversy in the lower left picture. The address on the “birth certificate” is that of the mother, not of the hospital, it clearly states in the box above that it is the mothers information, as well as the box below asking for the mothers mailing address, this is common to put under a residential address if the person wants mail to go somewhere other than their home address. Other than that great info!!

I have noticed these trails for many years but didn’t know what they were until recently. My eyes have been opened and this has got to stop. There are many people I know who never had allergies all their lives, and all the sudden they have them. Espcially seasonal allergies..I am one of them. Carlos, I would research Bloodroot, THC oil, and Amygdalin, in addition to DCA. I don’t have any more info about DCA. The findings above are preliminary and I can’t say whether this research will pan out into an effective cancer treatment.

I have a question,has dca been tested on colon cancer and in what for IV/pill.
this colon cancer in my wife started in the apendixe and was removed she was treated with
chemo but less than two years it has shown up in the ambilicus and pelves with now fluid in the stomach they now need to drain the fluid and start new round of chemo might not work.
will this work to slow this rate of growth.
and is their a nother version of dca wich we have access to. or can we get on a trial.

I’m glad you said this. You’re right, something to the effect of “the use of TXT records for SPF data is deprecated” would be more accurate. But I don’t know why caching name servers would ever allow the use txt records. They should be completely deprecated.

Hello I live in FlatRock Mi this morning right now they are spraying and yesterday. My friends and family think I’m nuts they wont even look . God I wish that was the case, but am afraid not. I’m looking for others who believe this I feel alone and helpless no one to talk to. Anyone living in the downriver area have a group or something regaurding these things I’d love to be a part of it I don’t want to sit and pretend this isn’t happening anymore and I’d like to meet others who are awaking up to what’s really happening.

Um, did it ever occur to anyone that PET bottles used for bottled water are NOT INTENDED for heating in the microwave? Who the heck would think of putting bottled water in the microwave anyway?

Manufacturers need to care about intended use, not crazy misuse.

Abstract
BACKGROUND, AIMS, AND

SCOPE: Heavy metal contaminants in environment, especially in drinking water, are always of great concern due to their health impact. Due to the use of heavy metals as catalysts during plastic syntheses, particularly antimony, human exposure to metal release from plastic bottles has been a serious concern in recent years. The aim and scope of this study were to assess metal contaminations leaching out from a series of recycling plastic bottles upon treatments.

METHODOLOGY: In this study, leaching concentrations of 16 metal elements were determined in 21 different types of plastic bottles from five commercial brands, which were made of recycling materials ranging from no. 1 to no. 7. Several sets of experiments were conducted to study the factors that could potentially affect the metal elements leaching from plastic bottles, which include cooling with frozen water, heating with boiling water, microwave, incubating with low-pH water, outdoor sunlight irradiation, and in-car storage.

RESULTS: Heating and microwave can lead to a noticeable increase of antimony leaching relative to the controls in bottle samples A to G, and some even reached to a higher level than the maximum contamination level (MCL) of the US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) regulations. Incubation with low-pH water, outdoor sunlight irradiation, and in-car storage had no significant effect on antimony leaching relative to controls in bottle samples A to G, and the levels of antimony leaching detected were below 6 ppb which is the MCL of USEPA regulations. Cooling had almost no effect on antimony leaching based on our results. For the other interested 15 metal elements (Al, V, Cr, Mn, Co, Ni, Cu, As, Se, Mo, Ag, Cd, Ba, Tl, Pb), no significant leaching was detected or the level was far below the MCL of USEPA regulations in all bottle samples in this study. In addition, washing procedure did contribute to the antimony leaching concentration for polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles. The difference of antimony leaching concentration between washing procedure involved and no washing procedure involved (AC) was larger than zero for samples A to G. This interesting result showed that higher antimony concentration was detected in experiments with no washing procedures compared with those experiments with washing procedures. Our study results indicate that partial antimony leaching from PET bottles comes from contaminations on the surface of plastic during manufacturing process, while major antimony leaching comes from conditional changes.

CONCLUSION: The results revealed that heating and microwaving enhance antimony leaching significantly in PET plastic bottles. Plastic bottle manufacturers should consider the contaminations during manufacturing process and washing bottles before first use was strongly recommended to remove those contaminants.

There’s nothing sensational about my post. I’m merly reporting what the study said, and making the OBVIOUS recommendation that people stop heating foods in plastic.

You come in here and accuse me of not reading the abstract, which is a manipulative tactic to sway the opinions of readers who don’t click thru and read the abstract themselves.

This is exactly the type of behiavor I expect to see from someone with ulterior motives, such as financial motives, or in your case, being psychologically invested in this bologna system combined with mental illness. (I won’t get into detail but this is from his own comments on Reddit)

I just call it like I see it. I’m not perfect and I have no interest in attacking anyone. I don’t judge you based on your self-reported mental illness either. Since you came in here throwing around unsubstantiated accusations, I wanted to find out where you’re coming from.

I have to add one more thing about this commentor “Rich.” I was wondering how Rich was so on-the-spot with fallacious arguments shortly after I published this, but after reading his profile on Reddit I realized he’s from the oil industry and either very brainwashed or directly working as a paid PR person.

Unfortunately the web is infested with paid public relations and propaganda agents and fake blogs that are really corporate fronts. Social bookmark sites like Reddit and Digg are easily gamed with large blocks of IP addresses, which large corporations and governments possess.

Just be aware that these characters will use any means at their disposal to manipulate public opinion, so take nothing at face value. Read all the source material cited, and look for corroborating evidence.

I know we’re knee-deep in bullsh*t but let’s just keep on wading…
